I’ve been looking at this website for a little while since seeing it on a friend’s blog. I’ve done a couple of the workouts but after seeing that they were going to start a 30-day challenge for the month of May I decided to join in and do the challenge to see how I can progress over the course of the month.

If anyone wants to join in, let me know!! You can start at any time and there are options for beginners, intermediate, advanced – anyone really!


Running Book

I’ve been working on the training for the half marathon coming up in June and Dave’s mom loaned me the book, “Run Less, Run Faster” and I’ve really been enjoying reading it. The idea of it is to run just 3 times a week in order to get your training in for whatever race you may be working towards. I find it helpful to me to have a specific plan for running so that I can get the most benefit out of my runs. These runs tend to be a bit more intense than what I would usually do, but not impossible.


Seattle Half Marathon

I signed up to do a half marathon in Seattle on June 23, 2012. I’m really excited to run another half marathon because I was really proud of myself for doing my first one in Vancouver in 2009. I had just found out I was pregnant with my second and then I got pregnant with my third the next year, so my body is thrilled to be able to run unencumbered again!
